Apples ( bonza - braeburn - cox's orange pippins - fuji - gala - golden
delicious - granny smith - jonagold - jonathan - lady williams - mutso -
pink lady - red delicious - snow - sundowner), avocados ( fuerte -
sharwill), custard apple, grapefruit, kiwifruit, lemons, limes, mandarin -
ellendale, melons -champagne, nashi, nuts - chestnut - hazelnut - walnut,
oranges - navel, pears ( beurre bosc - josephine - packham), persimmon,
pomelo, quince, rhubarb.


vegetables

Asian greens (bok choy - choy sum - gai laan - wombok/Chinese cabbage),
beetroot, broccoli, brussels sprout, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower,
celeriac, celery, fennel, garlic, ginger, horseradish, jerusalem artichokes,
kale, kohlrabi, leeks, okra, olives, onions, parsnip, peas, potato, pumpkin,
shallot, silverbeet, spinach, swede, sweet potato, turnip, witlof.


seafood

Flathead (dusky), Grey Mackerel, Snapper, Tailor, Warehou, Whiting (sand),
King Prawns.

cough bullshit! Certainly in the ACT region anyway. Granny Smith are just
finishing now, pink lady finished a week two back. Jonathan?! Several months
ago! golden delicioius and red (red were earlier) ditto. Jonagold, ditto
(Jonathan/golden delicious hybrid). Fujis were quite a while back. Gala were
early season, that's late summer. Braeburn I can barely remember it was that
long ago.

In season my arse. Perhaps they mean Tassie? Their season might have a bit
more lag than us, but I don't think anywhere's colder than here, and that's
the key with apples.

Sorry, I don't know which city it's based, but probably Sydney, or
Melbourne. If apples like the cold, surely the beginning of winter would be
a good time for them then...except in the ACT apparently, where there's
arctic conditions for 6 months of the year. ;)
