Thank you.

Have you tried their fruit pastes etc &/or sauces?
Any you'd recommend to others? (Just thinking of putting some
together for a couple of Christmas "hamper" gifts.)

Cheers, Phred.

Yep, tried most of them.

It's up to the individual, but my favourites are the Blood Plum and the
Cabernet paste. Each paste is 'designed' for a specific cheese, and the
two that I mentioned are for Brie and Blue, which works well for me.

If you're doing hampers, just go for the complete set........
http://www.maggiebeer.com.au/products/details/?Item=PrdctsComplete

that way people get to try them all and make their decision on which one
they prefer.

As for the sauces....... I've gone with the 2 Cabernet sauces...... the
others are tasty, but most are available elsewhere in one form or
another.
The 2 Vino Cottos (vinegars) are both fantastic on salads, and I'd also
recommend the Cabernet and the Vino Cotto jellies.

My order totalled about $80 so there was quite a bit in it, and having
the free postage was great!!

And my sister absolutely *loved* her box of goodies when it arrived.

Thanks very much for these details, Peter. I've had a squiz at the
site and I agree the full set of pastes is the way to go; but I need
to get a bit more organised to select some of the other bits and
pieces (including some for *me* to try too :-) before ordering.

Cheers, Phred.

I think most Coles or Woolworths supermarkets carry some of her product, so
maybe grabbing a few from there might be the way to start.

The Verjuice is great....... especially after frying off mushrooms and you
use it to deglaze the pan.

Thanks for that suggestion Peter, and sorry to take so long to reply.

I kept forgetting to look around our local Coles, but finally got
round to it today. Not much luck here in the sticks. The only Maggie
Beers product Coles had was "Pheasant Pate" in the fridge with the
dips and cheeses. And no Woollies in this town.

Hmmmmm, sooner or later 'cane-cockey' country is going to have to drag
it's arse into the 21st century.

But, till then, you have free shipping at Maggies.

I looked in our Coles and Woolworths, and yeah.......... the products
were only marginally dearer (about 10c - $2 depending on where and what)
.... but, when you deal with the 'Farm", you deal with a real person.
His name is Richard, and he answers any emails, and you can talk to him
on the phone.

And you get the product delivered *free* to your door, for less than
what you pay in the supermarkets.

My pastes are running low because of friends coming round with all these
different cheeses that they want to see what goes with what.

Had some of the fig paste this arvo with a Jindi Chives and Garlic
Brie......... bloody bewdiful!!!
