I am finally getting the icecream castle made for P's 6th birthday party on
Sunday.

Today I've moulded out a punnet of storebought chocolate icecream into a
medium square food storage container and 2lt of strawberry into a larger
container in the same series. They will stay frozen until just before being
served (I think). I have just smoothed melted chocolate onto four waffle
cones and sprinkled them with small pink and red candy hearts. I'm really
proud of them as it was all in my head and they've ended up looking great! I
just have to work out how to store them.

On the day of the party, just before serving, I plan to demould the icecream
blocks, placing the chocolate on the top of the strawberry layer. The waffle
cones will be placed one on each corner of the top layer but going down into
the strawberry layer. These are meant to look like turrets.

I then have 100's and 1000's biscuits to be placed around the outside of the
strawberry layer like a wall. I am not quite sure what else I will put on it
but have a variety of sprinkles, lollies and marshmellows to put on as I
decide. I also bought some chocolate covered icecream hearts so I might use
them too.
Last are the candles.

Wish me luck on the day!
