I'm slow myself today. Have had a massive cold all week so today I can't
even think straight.
Can anyone suggest good slow cooker recipes featuring chicken thighs on the
bone?

Well I don't know about thighs on bones but I throw 6-8 thighs in with a can
of crushed, or diced, tomatos, a packet of taco mix. The chicken all falls
away all stringy-like.

Serve on tacos or with rice. Yum yum.

Chicken soup?
Thats all we do, a tin of condenced chicken soup, some chicken(we do off the
bone cause we have young kids but I am sure it would work on the bone) and
your favorite veges.

My Grandmother's recipe:

bunch of chicken pieces, on the bone for more flavour, Chicken
Maryland pieces are good (for extra flavour, brown the pieces in a
frypan first).

one or two cans of cream of either chicken, mushroom or corn soup.
(I use the combined chicken and mushroom one that Campbells make).

Tip it all into a casserole dish.

Dust with paprika.

Slow cook, 1.5 - 2 hours on say 150 degrees.

Result is rich 'gravy' and chicken that is falling off the bone.
Full of flavour.

Since it's rich from the soup, simple vegies are nice, steamed
potatoes, broccoli, etc. Crusty bread too.

A bit late but just plain ole salt, water, garlic, onion and a small slice
of ginger (or a big slice if you are game :), oh and of cos the chicken
thighs.

Some celery if you like celery :) Plain ole boring toast and you are set.
Wasing up is a real cinch too :)

I do a Lancashire (sp) hot pot, using chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
Its just a standard recipe with the water reduced to one cup and the lamb
replaced with chicken thighs.

Do you bother to brown the spuds at the end of cooking. If so, how?

See:

etc., etc.

I never bother to brown the spuds when I make it in the crock pot, only when
I make it in the oven.
