Post by cheriThats all we do, a tin of condenced chicken soup, some chicken(we
do off the bone cause we have young kids but I am sure it would
work on the bone) and your favorite veges.
My Grandmother's recipe:
bunch of chicken pieces, on the bone for more flavour, Chicken
Maryland pieces are good (for extra flavour, brown the pieces in a
frypan first).
one or two cans of cream of either chicken, mushroom or corn soup.
(I use the combined chicken and mushroom one that Campbells make).
Tip it all into a casserole dish.
Dust with paprika.
Slow cook, 1.5 - 2 hours on say 150 degrees.
Result is rich 'gravy' and chicken that is falling off the bone.
Full of flavour.
Since it's rich from the soup, simple vegies are nice, steamed
potatoes, broccoli, etc. Crusty bread too.
